Lisa:  I have researched our files and have spoken with Ron Fransicovich as well as Steve Wydeveld regarding the improvements at Hunt Club.  As I mentioned to you, since this project started in the county our files are limited, however I did find a copy of a letter from Will County Use Department regarding a Letter of Credit reduction, dated 11.14.01  The letter identifies the limestone walking path and gazebo as part of the improvements secured by the LOC, therefore it is my opinion these are approved improvements and you need no further approval or certification of such. Regarding the pier, you will need to apply for a special use for “improvements in a flood plain” and according to Steve W.  the pier will need to meet ADA requirements. If you wish to proceed with the special use process please contact Lindley in our office.  Thank you
