![]() A
message from the President of Hunt Club
Woods Homeowners Association regarding the gazebo, pier, and walking
path
around The
The
pier must comply with the American
Disabilities Act, along with the path leading up to both structures.
Therefore,
an application for a Special Use Permit is required. A
topographical
survey must accompany the application for permit which will act as a
blueprint
to be used by the Home Owners Association for accurate
proposals. Upon
review of the proposed costs, an informed decision will be
made as to
whether or not to move forward with the Special Use
Permit application. If
the Home Owners
Association decides that the improvement costs are too high
proposals for
removal of the pier can be considered. The path will remain as
is, although it requires maintenance a cost that has already
been agreed
to by the Home Owners Association. As President of the Hunt Club Woods Home Owners Association, I am calling a Special Meeting for the purpose of increasing the official number of persons serving on the Board and to openly discuss the status of the gazebo, pier, and recent vote. The
Association would benefit from an
increase of 4 or 6 members to bring the total Board of
Directors to 7 or
9, through an election of the voting members present at the Special
Meeting. The
Special Meeting of the Hunt Club
Woods Home Owners Association will take place on Wednesday,
